Position: Customer Service Administrator 2

Job Overview

The Customer Service Administrator 2 provides intermediate-level clerical support to the Service Center, assisting with customer service, appointments, dispatch support, payroll, human resources, and general secretarial tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls or contact customers regarding shipment status, billing questions, CODs, driver collection, tracing, problems, or rating information.
  • Research and answer requests for information from internal customers or other Service Centers.
  • Call and schedule delivery appointments and assist drivers with pick-up or delivery problems.
  • Calculate hours worked and linehaul miles, compile driver hours of service, and complete driver log summaries.
  • Assist with generating manifests, closing loads, and entering closed, dispatched, and arrived loads into the computer system.
  • Provide clerical support to Service Center Account Managers, Account Executives, or Senior Account Executives.
  • Make follow-up calls to customers as requested for sales leads and maintain the sales appointment schedule.
  • Key pay data into the payroll system.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts, including advertising, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and schedule training classes or order supplies.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass background check and alcohol and drug test.
  • At least 6 months of related experience or previous office experience.
  • Strong customer relations skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferred experience with Customer Service, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and multi-line phone systems.
Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $20.86 - $25.76 per hour.
