- Do you enjoy maintaining detailed records of collection activities, communications, and ensuring accurate contact information?
- Does contacting customers to collect outstanding payments motivate you?
- Do you thrive in areas where you negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines?
- Are you skillful with monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action (credit memos, refunds, credit holds, Notice of Intent Letter, Final Demand letter, lien waivers, etc.)?
- Do you demonstrate a passion for and are committed to collaboration?
Location of position:
Flexible within district.
As our Collections Associate, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivables from service customers. This role ensures timely payments, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate records to support the financial health of the organization.
Qualifications / Hiring Requirements- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- 2+ years of progressive and successful experience in a collections role or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; however a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Omaha, Oklahoma City, Sioux Falls, Wichita, Little Rock: $61,000 - $83,820
Des Moines: $64,200 - $88,220
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
