Senior Telecommunications Superintendent

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendents to join our team for large‑scale long‑haul fiber installation projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations, developing project plans, monitoring performance, anticipating client needs, and mentoring colleagues.

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Maintain working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project.
• Participate in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.

• 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub‑contractors.
• Problem‑solving abilities with capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and operating in all types of weather conditions.
• The position is site‑based and requires travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states.
