This role originates residential mortgage loans and supports primary lending within a financial center, delivering First Mortgage and HELOC products along with Auto Loans, Credit Cards and Core Banking products where applicable.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized, personalized service and guidance to financial center clients across borrowing and banking offerings at each life-stage.
- Build and deepen relationships with new and existing clients by leveraging the bank’s full capabilities.
- Analyze client financial needs and apply knowledge of borrowing and banking to recommend suitable financial services.
- Present home lending product solutions, submit mortgage applications, assist with gathering documentation, and keep clients informed throughout the mortgage loan process via outbound calls, email, and online messaging.
- Engage with clients through outreach and pipeline management, conducting follow-up to meet needs.
- Respond to client requests and refer to internal partners as appropriate.
- Partner with financial center leaders, performance managers, and market leaders to guide associates in delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating client need assessment, relationship-building, and consultative sales with tailored financial solutions.
- Active listening, professional communication, and comfort engaging clients in person and by phone.
- Ability to analyze financial and credit data and explain product/pricing policies; gather required information as needed.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to manage end-to-end client experience and resolve issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing circumstances.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and capable of learning technology; committed to ethics and regulatory due diligence.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
- Experience in loan origination in a retail environment and knowledge of Mortgage Products (Conventional, Jumbo and HELOC, Government).
- Knowledge of credit and home lending requirements; ability to analyze complex financial data and present alternatives.
- Experience in a financial center with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Knowledge of banking products and services; strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Familiarity with structuring, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures; knowledge of FHA and HUD guidelines.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and use of laptop technology.

Pay range $26.00 – $30.83 hourly; formulaic incentive eligible; benefits eligible.
This role may be subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage loan originations. Employees must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing, and complete the required SAFE Act background check. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action up to termination.
