Full Time Hospital Pharmacist - Up to $135,000​/Yr + $10K Sign On

Full-time hospital pharmacist in Huron, SD, responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use across all hospital areas and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. The role supports medication therapy management, quality improvement initiatives, and patient and staff education.

• Prepare, dispense, and review medications for accuracy and appropriateness

• Provide clinical support to healthcare providers regarding drug therapy and interactions

• Monitor patient medication regimens for therapeutic effectiveness and safety

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

• Educate patients and staff on medication use and best practices

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control of all pharmaceutical products

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution

• Current South Dakota Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
