Performs a variety of general and specific clinical laboratory duties including but not limited to the areas of Phlebotomy, Central Specimen Processing/Shipping. Collects routine laboratory specimens by standard venipuncture and skin puncture. Processes specimens and requisitions to appropriate lab section. Distributes and files laboratory reports.

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- Word and Excel experience preferred.
- Work involves sitting, standing, stooping, and bending, walking throughout the hospital and between physician's office locations outside the hospital. Work may require moderate lifting (exerting/lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly).
- Work requires finger/hand dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
- Work is in clean, well lighted, climate controlled environment.
- Works with biological (infectious) and chemical hazardous material.
- Minimal hazards under normal conditions.
