Huron-Regional-Medical-Center offers a youth apprentice program where the apprentice performs nurse aide duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for patients with a defined nursing diagnosis. Students must complete HRMC’s nurse aide training and orientation through Southeast Technical College, and BYAG training.
Apprentices will rotate through HRMC departments to observe, with 2–4 additional departments selected for observation, while being paid for their work experience.
