Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Full-time position in a critical access facility in Huron, South Dakota. The role focuses on delivering high-quality anesthesia care in a supportive rural hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide anesthesia care across surgical and obstetric procedures
- Administer regional anesthesia including epidurals and spinal blocks
- Insert and manage central lines and perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
- Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthetics as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols
- Demonstrate strong communication and leadership within the care team
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthetist program approved by the AANA
- Licensed and registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in South Dakota
- Current ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability
Skills:
- Proven experience in OB anesthesia and critical access settings
