General Labor ? Cattle Care Feedyard Assistant (South Dakota)
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is partnering with a progressive and growing feedyard operation in South Dakota to find a dependable and hardworking General Labor ? Cattle Care Feedyard Assistant. This is not simply a ?clock-in/clock-out? role. They are looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term part of a team-focused cattle operation that takes pride in animal care, efficiency, and doing things the right way.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around livestock, and contributing wherever needed to support day-to-day feedyard operations.

Compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour, with employees averaging approximately 55 hours per week.

What You?ll Be Doing Monitor cattle daily for overall health and behavior

Assist with identifying, pulling, and treating sick or injured cattle

Help with cattle processing, receiving, and shipping activities

Support feeding operations and general yard maintenance

Operate equipment and assist with upkeep of facilities as needed

Work closely with the team to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive operation

Step in wherever needed to support overall feedyard success

What We?re Looking For Previous cattle, livestock, feedyard, or agricultural labor experience preferred

Willingness to learn and take direction

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Attention to detail and genuine care for animal well-being

Valid driver?s license required
