We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join our growing team. This position is available as full-time (4 days a week)
About the Position- Full-time: 35–40 hours/week
- Typical full-time schedule includes four weekdays, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with a two-hour lunch break
- One Saturday shift per month, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Flexible scheduling to support work–life balance
- No overnight on-call - we send our overnight cases to an emergency hospital within Sioux Falls
- Being privately owned

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in the state of practice
- Strong medical, diagnostic, and surgical skills (new graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship available)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and build trust with clients
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and exceptional service to clients
- Ability to manage time effectively, including working with scheduled 30- and 45-minute appointments
- Willingness to work the required schedule, including occasional Saturday shifts
- Interest in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Ability to perform physical duties typical of veterinary practice, including lifting, restraining animals, and standing for extended periods
