Senior Construction Control Representative

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Surveillance Inspector / QA Specialist to support federal construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience supporting complex government or USACE projects, delivering detailed field surveillance, quality assurance inspections, and technical recommendations throughout all phases of construction. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of related experience and strong knowledge in one or more specialized technical disciplines including Medical Gas Systems, Life Safety, Electrical, HVAC/TAB, Fire Protection, Building Commissioning, Biomedical Systems, Welding Inspection, Airfield Paving, Environmental HAZWOPER, or Communications & Security Systems.

This position will work closely with the USACE COR and government personnel to monitor construction activities for compliance with plans, specifications, workmanship standards, materials, installation methods, and quality control procedures. Responsibilities include conducting site surveillance and inspections, preparing detailed surveillance reports, reviewing contract plans and specifications, assisting with resolving field discrepancies, supporting change order investigations, drafting modifications and change orders, and coordinating inspection requirements and quality assurance methods with government stakeholders.

Candidates with prior federal, military, healthcare, aviation, or mission-critical infrastructure experience are highly preferred.

This is a fully onsite position located at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. No remote work available.
