Quality Technician – Huron, SD

• Approach daily work safely and positively.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Operate precision measurement equipment, including CMM arms.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and iPad digital apps.
• Communicate problems and solutions to leadership and customers.
• Insist on weld inspection methods used at Terex Facilities.
• Investigate problems, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
• Train team on Quality Standards and Customer Requirements.
• Perform audits/inspections at specified Quality gates.
• Write non-conformances and issue red tags.
• Identify and drive internal quality and safety improvements.
• Develop countermeasures to prevent future reoccurrences.
• Improve or modify test procedures as required.
• Provide Solid Works support to production by generating customized drawings.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of proven experience in Quality, Inspection, or Welding.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication with all team members.
• Team‑player with a positive attitude.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Recognize safety hazards and take appropriate actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of business and product information.
• Demonstrate acceptable attendance.
• Take initiative to resolve problems and seek root causes.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
• Help others and backup teammates.
• Flexible to learn new skills as needed.
• Meet metrics by performing quality work in accordance with SOPs.
• Improve processes within the work area using appropriate tools.
• Continuously search for new, better ways of doing things.

$25‑$30 per hour, based on education, experience, certifications, and other factors.
