About Expansion Capital Group (ECG) ECG provides financing solutions that help small businesses access the capital they need to grow. Our team specializes in efficient, non-traditional lending, balancing speed with strong credit discipline and a commitment to doing things the right way. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Technology team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing software, investigating issues, and ensuring systems function as intended before they reach end users. You'll play a key role behind the scenes by validating new features, identifying defects, and helping ensure ECG's systems and applications meet the quality standards our employees and customers depend on.
If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving software quality and user experience, this is a strong opportunity. In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to test software, validate requirements, document defects, and support successful software releases.
What You'll Do:- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression testing scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Validate system enhancements, bug fixes, and product releases prior to deployment
- Identify, document, prioritize, and communicate software defects and system issues
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
- Participate in sprint planning, bug triage, release readiness reviews, and quality assurance activities
- Utilize testing tools and technologies such as Azure Dev Ops, Postman, Selenium, and other approved platforms
- Create and maintain testing documentation, defect reports, process documentation, and test results
- Support reporting and metrics used to measure system quality and effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, documentation, and overall quality assurance effectiveness
- Serve as a quality assurance resource for business stakeholders and operational teams
- How software quality directly impacts business operations and customer experience
