Your work directly supports healthcare workers, residents, and guests with quality customer service through snack and meal preparation, assembly and cleanup. * What you will do:

*** Prepare food items for assigned area.
* Meet standards established by Leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
* Follow extended menu and standardized recipes, memorize basic foods allowed on modified diets, use Diet Manual as a reference and keeps work area orderly and sanitary.
* Stock refrigerator, storerooms, work areas with appropriate labeling and dating procedures, food temperature record keeping, breaking down boxes.
* Serve meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance.
* Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation.
* Lead, by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards.##
** Required Education, License/Certification, or

Work Experience:

*** High School or GED Equivalent
* High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety, preferred.
