Corrections Trainee​/Corrections Deputy

FULL TIME JOB OPENINGS FOR Corrections Trainee / Corrections Officerat the Washington County Sheriff's Office Women and Minorities encouraged to apply

Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maintenance of county jail facilities including detention and monitoring of inmates.

Corrections Trainees start at $26.00 per hour, increase to $31.21 per hour once certified (typically within the first 8-12 months of employment)

• Run 1.5 miles in 16:11, 14 push-ups (continuous exercise), hold a plank position for 30 seconds (replaces sit-up requirement)
