Salary

$18.41 to $24.86 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Level I: $18.41 – $19.48 per hour
  • Level II: $19.49 – $20.55 per hour
  • Level III: $20.56 – $24.86 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Perform receptionist, clerical, and administrative duties.
  • Accept and respond to calls, schedule appointments, and verify insurance coverage.
  • Collect and document payments; compile and record appropriate documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and utilize medical and dental terminology knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other staff under the direction of the Clinic Manager.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two‑year experience (three years preferred) in a medical or dental office.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical and dental office routine and terminology.
  • Ability to work well as a team, exhibit integrity, use good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

The work environment is a typical medical office setting with appropriate climate controls. Noise level is moderate.

Physical Demands

The position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting. Occasional lifting and moving up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing, reaching, occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
