Our Mobile Crisis On-Call Team (MCOT) Case Manager provides mobile crisis support and treatment to community members experiencing a mental health crisis or SUD crisis. This role serves as a mental health first responder taking 988 calls to support our community.

The goal is to help people work through a crisis while maintaining their dignity, independence, and personal growth, while also helping reduce unnecessary Emergency Room visits and the demand on law enforcement.

Role Overview

The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) Case Manager, operating out of the Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC), provides critical treatment and mobile crisis response to Washington and Kane Counties. This role is essential in delivering high-acuity client care while reducing the load on emergency rooms and first responders.

  • Provide mobile crisis assistance and treatment to community members in mental health or substance use crises.
  • Facilitate crisis resolution while maintaining client dignity, self-direction, and personal growth.
  • Coordinate high-acuity care and provide flexible support to meet program and client needs during emergencies.
  • Assist with the Crisis Stabilization Center needs
Performance Expectations
  • Complete all clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours of service.
  • Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating closely with nursing, peer support, law enforcement, and psychiatrists.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a college or university with a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or a related field preferred,
  • Licensure: Valid motor vehicle Driver's License (equivalent to Utah Class

    D)
  • Licensure: Social Service Worker (SSW) License preferred
  • Experience: Twelve months (12 mo.) of working in social service programs preferred.
  • Requirements: Ability to pass a criminal background check and hold a current driver's license.
Schedule

This position features a distinctive "7 days on, 7 days off" rotation, alternating with another Case Manager to provide maximum time off.

  • Shift: Thursday 2:00 PM to the following Wednesday 2:00 PM.
  • Breakdown: 70 hours on-site and 49 hours on-standby per rotation.
  • Compensation: This role offers a competitive base salary plus a full benefits package.
  • Flexibility:
    Must be available for emergencies as requested by the program.
