Truck Driver CDL A Regional Team

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Team Class A CDL Truck Driver in Las Vegas, NV. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a rewarding driving career.

• Hours per week:
  Up to 60 or more hours per week
• Team Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile with 1,990+ miles per week for each driver
• Team Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop with 17 stops per week total
• $25.00 hourly for any non‑driving functions
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday or Sunday – Thursday
• Home 2 days for reset
• Start time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm dispatch window

• Routes:
  Regional – Southwest CA, NV, AZ, NM;
  Mountain West – UT, CO, WY, , MT
• Tractor type: sleeper, refrigerator, inverters
• Trailer type: dry van & doubles 28’, 48’, 53’
• Equipment: pallet jack, forklift, hand truck;
  Ryder will train on all required equipment
• Freight: touch – retail hardware supplies
• Endorsements:
  Hazmat & doubles – must obtain within 30 days of hire

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past three years, or
  • 2 years’ experience within the last five years, or
  • 5 years’ experience within the last ten years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
