Salary Range: Putnam County Schools Professional Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description: The Middle School Social Studies Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive social studies program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for social studies at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (6-8).
Length of Employment: 200 days
Responsibilities: The Middle School Social Studies Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
