Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

5x8 days, Monday to Friday, from 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM, with a minimum of 1-2 on-call shifts per week and one weekend of on-call per month.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong orthopedic experience and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage anesthesia as required.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide support to surgical techs.
• Administer medications and manage post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission.
• Orthopedic experience is a must.
