Field Technician III (Project Management)
Archaeological Field Technicians Needed in Mason County, West Virginia
Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. has up to 12 archaeological field technician positions available for a Phase I archaeological survey for a development in Mason County, West Virginia. Work will be conducted between Monday and Friday each week, with 8-hour work days. The project is expected to begin on July 20, 2026, and continue for 5-7 seven weeks.
The wage rate for this project will be $20.25 to $23.25 per hour, depending on experience, with per diem of $68 per work day and single occupancy hotel rooms. Lodging will be provided for all work days, and on weekends if needed. Up to eight (8) hours of travel time at the beginning and end of the project mobilization will be paid.
A bachelor's degree in anthropology and attendance in a field school are required.
Please note that this project will be physically demanding. The project involves hiking over steep terrain, and adverse weather conditions are expected. Stooping, bending and lifting in difficult conditions are essential functions of the position.
