This is a HYBRID role, with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Sales and Marketing Administrator supports our Sales team and assists with various Marketing functions. The Sales and Marketing Admin role is ideally suited for somebody with both strong software skills and task management experience as well as the team-building skills to track deliverables in a collaborative yet assertive manner. This person will work together with team members to refine processes, and help plan, develop, and execute marketing communications and special projects within the company.
- Provide administrative assistance to sales representatives on RFP/RFIs for Sales (Ariba and other RFQ sites.)
- Marketing support activities may include: assistance with Trade Show coordination, customer surveys, digitizing archive files, competitor analysis, company research, etc.
- Help manage/maintain CRM database and work with sales team to define and improve processes.
- Work cross functionally with the sales team as needed on various customer needs.
- Keep current with technology and marketing trends to add value to the efforts of the Sales and Marketing Teams.
- Professional and courteous communication with internal and external customers.
EXPERIENCE/
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, reports, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, prepare proposals, and internal and external communications and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers and customers. Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Computer
Skills:
Word processing, databases, excel spreadsheets, e-mail. Proficiency using our internal accounting programs in BOSS/CSS. Also use Power Point, Snagit, Tru View (to view CAD Designs).
Experience with CRM and/or marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Hubspot) is a plus.
Education Required:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
