FT/PT Status:
Full Time
- Support facilities in achieving 4-Star or National Accreditation status through professional development and modeling best practices.
- Develop instructional materials and deliver training sessions.
- Recruit Entry-Level training to providers and provide on-site training to attain TRS status.
- Participate in community events as required.
- Assist in ordering materials and resources through the Quality Initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Submit monthly reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Commitment to Growth — Must be eager to expand skills and progressively grow into a Quality Mentor position through completion of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science.
- Associate’s degree in one of the following:
Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Elementary Education, or Family Consumer Science. - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of best practices and current research in early childhood education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Reliable, insured vehicle for transportation.
- Must pass pre-employment and/or periodic physical exam, TB skin test, and background check (renewed every 24 months).
- Repetitive use of hands; reaching and turning;
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; light lifting of supplies and materials;
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend and stoop.
