Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• - Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• - Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning
• - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• - Assist with meal planning and preparation
• - Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
• - Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate personnel

• - Compassionate and caring nature
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• - Patience and empathy when working with clients
• - Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job

• - Previous caregiver experience required
• - Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• - Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• - Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• - Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• - Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• - Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• - High school diploma or equivalent
