We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a long-term onsite contract opportunity in Hurst, Texas
. This role is ideal for a hands‑on IT professional with strong PC troubleshooting, Windows support, imaging, and network troubleshooting experience who enjoys supporting end users in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.
This is a 12+ month contract with potential for full‑time conversion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite desktop support for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve PC issues (hardware and software)
- Support and maintain Windows Operating Systems (performance, updates, configurations)
- Perform password resets, system updates, and account troubleshooting
- Diagnose hardware components including hard drives, LCDs, USB devices, keyboards, mice, power adapters, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and network issues
- Manage and restore Windows user profiles, configure additional applications within user profiles
- Install and manage wireless certificates for workstations and tablets
- Support approved peripherals such as webcams, USB devices, tokens, and other accessories
- Distribute customer‑purchased peripherals and loaner equipment
- Remediate end‑user incidents related to software pushes and packaging
- Perform PC imaging, deployments, and refresh projects
- 2+ years of Desktop Support or IT Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11
- Experience with PC imaging and device refresh cycles
- Knowledge of wireless networking and certificate installation
- Familiarity with Active Directory (password resets, profile management)
- Experience supporting hardware components and peripherals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite daily in Hurst, TX
- Experience in enterprise or corporate IT environments
- Familiarity with device deployment tools or imaging software
- Experience supporting tablets and mobile workstations
- Long‑term stability (12+ month contract)
- Potential for permanent hire
