Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Front Desk Hospitality and Sales Assistant Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for dogs and the skills necessary to provide exceptional care for dogs in our facility, and foremost to the parents who trust their dogs to our Team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe lobby environment for our dogs, assisting with daily cleaning needs and timelines, ensuring dog overall well-being exceeding company safety and health cleaning procedures, and following all onboarding pre-sales requirements before the care for dogs may begin.

This is for someone who is diligent, trustworthy, honest, and seeks a career in dog care business. We seek to promote from within.

Responsibilities
  • Active supervision of the Team who provide for the health and behavior of groups of dogs; the dogs are here to be active and have fun with you and each other!
  • Supervise BOH Team providing direction as necessary, and always leading by example.
  • Assist with and complete basic grooming services as needed, and delegating to BOH Team Mates priorities of grooming maintaining contact with the dog parents
  • Responsible for the feeding and general care of a large volume of dogs, or delegating to BOH Team Mates training protocols.
  • A positive and energetic attitude is a must!
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for all dogs, including Lobby, Luxury Suites, Play Yards, all work spaces, all bathrooms, and entire facility.
  • Must be able to work at a quick and efficient pace.
  • Must be able to type 80+ WPM
  • Computer literate and quick learner who is process and detail oriented
  • Excellent communicator who is professionally polished and caring responsible individual
Requirements
  • Able to comfortably lift up to 75+ lbs. and comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift - lots of steps in our profession.
  • Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time if necessary.
  • Confident strong disposition around all dogs and dog sizes (we have dogs weighing more than 200 lbs!)
  • Previous experience in animal handling or care required; training will be provided.
  • Ranching or equine facility background is transferable
  • Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • 2+ year professional sales experience with demonstrable success
  • Resilient and multi-tasking Team Mate who is leader and one "who runs toward the fire, rather than runs away hiding"
  • High School Diploma
  • Gifted communicator that has gift of hospitality and welcoming attitude to our dog families
  • Must have own personal transportation and not rely on any individual or ride sharing to come to work
  • Key holder experience required
  • Proven leader in athletics, family, work, church, animal care, or any other field of study or work
