Veterinary Technician – Hurst, TX
Provide Compassionate, High‑Quality Care in a Collaborative Practice. Thrive Pet Healthcare – Hurst is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our supportive, patient‑focused team. This hands‑on clinical role is ideal for technicians who enjoy working collaboratively, delivering excellent patient care, and being part of a positive, team‑oriented hospital environment.

What You’ll Do- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Supporting anesthesia, surgical assisting, and post‑operative care
- Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures
- Monitoring anesthetic patients (ASA I–III)
- Collecting laboratory samples and performing in‑house diagnostics
- Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records
- Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas
- Using safe restraint techniques to ensure patient and team safety
- Working collaboratively with technicians, assistants, and doctors to support smooth patient flow
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience
- CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
- Strong attention to detail and clinical observation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑quality general practice
