Heartland Credit Union is looking for a full-time Traveling Teller to work at our branch in Hutchinson and travel to all branches as needed. If you are a positive, friendly, and motivated individual who enjoys customer service and sales, then this is for you. This person will be assigned to a branch each day based on staffing needs and will travel frequently to all branches including Hutchinson, Haven, Newton and Wichita. The home branch will be located at 900 E 23rd Ave. in Hutchinson.
Must be available to work 36-40 hours, from 7:45 a.m.
- 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 7:45 a.m.
- 6:15 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m.
- 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays. Will work rotating Saturdays.
- Greets customers entering the branch, directs them to the correct staff member for assistance and provides assistance with ATM usage, coin counting machine, safety deposit boxes and other branch services.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of paying and receiving functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and cash advances.
- Verifies cash totals and balances each day's transactions.
- Educate members of credit union products and services.
- Balances ATM machines, coin counters, and cash dispensing/recycling machines in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
- Provides superior service to our members.
- Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
- Experience working in a financial institution is helpful but not required.
- Proficient with technology and variety of software including MS Office:
Word, Excel and Outlook. - Well organized and attentive to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to move 30 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
- Stationary for extended periods of time.
