E. 23rd Avenue Hutchinson, KS

Must be available from 7:45 a.m.

- 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 7:45 a.m.

- 6:15 p.m. Friday. Some Saturdays required from 8:00 a.m.

- 12:15 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Assists Branch Manager with day-to-day branch operations.
  • Supports all branch operations including teller duties, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.
  • Identifies and resolves staffing problems to ensure members have minimal wait times.
  • Ensures all branch operations are conducted in accordance with established HCU policies and with legal, security and regulatory requirements. Implements changes to established policies and procedures within the branch.
  • Continually seeks ways to improve branch operations and to meet established goals.
  • Ensures branches appearance meets brand standards as set forth by the marketing department
  • Ensures proper maintenance and general housekeeping of the building, grounds, work areas, desks, and equipment is carried out, including snow and ice removal.
  • Oversees adequate supplies, forms, and equipment
  • Maintains knowledge of credit union products and services.
  • Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Provides superior service to our members and staff.
  • Pro-actively supports and advances HCU s brand and culture platform.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience as a Teller at a full-service financial institution.
  • Previous leadership experience helpful.
  • Basic understanding of credit union operations, including opening and closing accounts, loans products, IRAs, safe deposit box process, and certificate procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.
  • Well organized and attentive to detail
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict.
  • Willingness to assist others.
  • Able to operate related computer applications and PC.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Valid driver s license.
  • Stationary for extended periods of time. Moves up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
