Press Brake Facilitator​/Forklift Operator; Night shift

The Press Brake Facilitator / Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting production operations by assisting with press brake setup, part flow, material handling, and quality checks. This role ensures efficient machine operation, safe transportation of materials using a forklift, and smooth workflow throughout the fabrication area.

Job Title: Press Brake Facilitator / Forklift Operator

Reports to: Production Supervisor

• Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, sheet metal, finished parts, and tooling throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks as needed.
• Stock materials in designated areas and ensure accuracy of inventory movement.
• Deliver materials to press brakes and other workstations to support production flow.
• Follow all facility safety rules, traffic guidelines, and forklift best practices.

Production Flow & Coordination

• Coordinate with machine operators and supervisors to prioritise material delivery and part movement.
• Track work-in-progress and support the timely completion of orders.
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain workflow and address roadblocks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Press brake experience or mechanical aptitude strongly desired.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
