1st Shift CAD Operator

Sets up, programs, and operates a CAD digital machine per job traveler specifications. May also assist with weeding, cutting, and other finishing-area tasks.

• Operate CAD machine to produce custom shape/cut vinyl products
• Understand job traveler, machine set-up, and i-cut software
• Proof new art from prepress
• Locate, use, and update CAD files
• Produce basic CAD “cut-only” jobs on pigmented vinyl
• Proofread, verify, and produce Micro-Cut orders
• Examine products for quality; adjust as needed
• Remove finished/pre-finished material from cutter for next operation
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Assist in other finishing operations as needed
• Remove excess vinyl while other graphics are cutting
• Produce consistent quality graphics

Heated/cooled production atmosphere

Cement floor; anti-fatigue mats provided

Clean working environment

• Able to stand for entire work period (including overtime as needed)
• Occasional walking, changing position, reaching (including across midline), handling, fingering, feeling, grasping
• Occasional lifting 20–50 lbs; frequent lifting 10–25 lbs

Full-time;
Monday–Friday. Hours may vary by department/shift. Additional hours required to complete projects.
