Responsible for operating and troubleshooting digital printers to reach and maintain maximum production efficiencies. Produces quality printed signs and accurately interprets, documents, and communicates diagnostic feedback from the machine.

• Follow safety procedures and practices outlined on the Safety Placard for each piece of equipment
• Set up and operate digital printers
• Perform color matching of printed signs
• Use and manipulate computer software related to digital color control, page imposition, production queues, and output
• Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify necessary adjustments
• Verify the blank and ink meet the job traveler
• Load presses with blanks and make adjustments according to metal size
• Operate press and pull proofs to check ink coverage/density, alignment, registration
• Practice printing safety procedures
• Meet strict production deadlines while maintaining quality work

• Heated/cooled production atmosphere
• Cement floor; anti-fatigue mats provided
• Clean working environment
• Might work around moving mechanical parts
• Will be working with chemicals; PPE required at times

• Average or better eyesight and color recognition
• Able to stand for entire work period (including overtime if needed)
• Occasional walking, change of position, reaching (including across midline), handling, fingering, feeling
• Occasional lifting 20–50 lbs; frequent lifting 10–25 lbs
• Frequent hand and simple grasp

Full-time;
Monday–Friday. Hours may vary by department and shift. Additional hours may be required to meet customer deadlines.
