Location: Hutchinson, Kansas
Work Schedule:- Expected work hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:20 am to 4:00 pm. - Anticipated workweek: 40 to 45 hours.
Description:
We are currently seeking a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team. This full‑time position involves a range of responsibilities, including operating processing cells, machining bores and pinholes using manual equipment, and assisting with various manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining product quality.
General Responsibilities:- Maintain product quality by adhering to processes and specifications.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Quickly learn and follow existing processes, systems, and methods.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and systems.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Operate manufacturing cells, including the set-up and operation of automatic and semi‑automatic grinding machines.
- Perform CNC and manual machining/EDM to enhance blade features.
- Become proficient in operating various processing equipment.
- Learn and excel in carbide blade brazing and blade tensioning/hammering processes.
- Gain a complete understanding of manufacturing and inventory control processes.
- Provide guidance to management on inventory status and accuracy.
- Maintain, clean, and service equipment and facilities on a regular schedule, documenting all activities.
- Package products as required.
- Perform receiving and shipping tasks and processes as needed.
