Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Room assignment requiring a KS or compact license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Room (ER) within an acute care setting
- Recently expanded department with 19 beds, including two trauma rooms and 13 private treatment rooms
- Features include Fast-Track units, updated imaging suite, and private triage rooms
- 12-hour day shifts with start times at 7a, 11a, 3p, and 7p
- Uses Cerner EMR for all charting
- Traveler may be required to work as charge RN at times
- Provides care to patients in a newly expanded emergency department
- May be assigned to charge RN duties as needed
- Expanded facilities include improved staff spaces and enhanced ambulance access
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room RN experience
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
