Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Purpose and Objectives
Assists in maintaining Reno County owned buildings by keeping them neat and clean, and by being observant, recording items needing repair by the maintenance technicians. Part‑time crew members act in a supportive role to the full‑time crew and may or may not include all essential duties below, depending on departmental needs and current job assignments.

Position Requirements- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Minimum 1‑year previous experience desired.
- U.S. citizen or non‑U.S. citizen that must be able to perform the work in or for the United States.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a name‑based record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJIS‑sensitive information.
- Screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint‑based check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
Compensation within the listed pay range is tailored to relatable and transferrable experience.
