Middle School Girls Tennis Coaches - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools Activities Department is seeking two Middle School Girls Tennis Coaches for the  school year and beyond.

The Middle School Girls Tennis Coach willcarry out the Purpose Statement andtheobjectives of the program.

This position will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. At the same time, the student shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of pride of accomplishment and self-confidence.

Schedule:

• 3hours per day, 25-35 days per year
• Season runs August 25th - October 10th

Qualifications:

• Prefer current employment with Hutchinson Public Schools.
• Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desirable.
• Has knowledge and background in the assigned sport.

Nominal Stipend:

• The stipend amount for this position is $2,100.00.
• The district will pay the coach a fixed stipend.
  
  The stipend amount is considered a "nominal stipend".The amount of the stipend will not change based on the number of daily hours that are devoted to coaching/advisor duties or the team's level of success.
  
  If team enrollment is not met, the district may make staffing reductions that reflect program level offerings within the first two weeks of the program.
  
  Any service provided during this two-week timeframe will be paid on a weekly pro-rated basis. In addition, if the selected candidate is unable to fulfill coaching/advising duties for five or more days, the stipend paid will be prorated.
