Student Supervision Position

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a team member to provide student supervision to students during recess at Park Elementary. This position will monitor students during non-classroom activities making sure school rules are followed to ensure student safety. This position will work 171 days per year, 2 hours 15 minutes per day from 11:25am - 1:40pm. The salary range for this position is $19.14 per hour - $21.64 per hour.

Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and retirement plan with employer contribution.

Responsibilities include:

• Observe students, checking for appropriate and safe behaviors.
• Assist in conflict resolution as well as other needs.
• Help keep the cafeteria, playground, and work/school environment clean and safe.
• Work with other staff and students to create a positive, efficient and safe school environment.
• Maintain confidentiality standards by adhering to the district's data privacy policy.

Required qualification:
High school diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications (one of the following):
Associates degree, 60 semester college credits, passing score on one of the state-approved tests (Para Educator or Para Pro).
