Student Supervision Position
Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a team member to provide student supervision to students during recess at Tiger Elementary. This position will monitor students during non-classroom activities making sure school rules are followed to ensure student safety. This position will work 171 days per year, 1 hours per day. The salary range for this position is $19.14 per hour - $21.64 per hour.
Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and retirement plan with employer contribution.
Responsibilities include:
- Observe students, checking for appropriate and safe behaviors.
- Assist in conflict resolution as well as other needs.
- Help keep the cafeteria, playground, and work/school environment clean and safe.
- Work with other staff and students to create a positive, efficient and safe school environment.
- Maintain confidentiality standards by adhering to the district's data privacy policy.
Required qualification:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications (one of the following):
Associates Degree, 60 semester college credits, passing score on one of the state-approved tests (Para Educator or Para Pro).
Additional hours as a Title/ADSIS Education Assistant may be available.
