Student Supervision At Tiger Elementary
Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a team member to provide student supervision to students at Tiger Elementary. This position will monitor students during non-classroom activities making sure school rules are followed to ensure student safety. This position will work 172 days per year, 2 hours per day. The salary range for this position is $19.14 per hour - $21.64 per hour.
Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include sick leave and retirement plan with employer contribution.
Responsibilities include:
observe students, checking for appropriate and safe behaviors. Assist in conflict resolution as well as other needs. Help keep the cafeteria and work/school environment clean and safe. Work with other staff and students to create a positive, efficient and safe school environment. Maintain confidentiality standards by adhering to the district's data privacy policy. Required qualification: high school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications (one of the following): associates degree 60 semester college credits passing score on one of the state-approved tests (Para Educator or Para Pro).
Competency grid Tiger Elementary school serves students in second and third grade. Our exceptional staff provides students with consistent, research-based instruction tailored to their unique needs. Grade-level teams collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, STREAM, and art, as well as enrichment, special education, and Title 1, to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Additionally, extended-day and extended-year classes are offered.
