As a Finishing Operator3 in the Finishing Department, you will start as a Level1 Operator supporting the Folder Gluer Operator with tooling setup, machine changeovers, and material handling. Through accelerated training, you will progress to Level3, the highest level, responsible for running the folding gluing machine, ensuring safety, managing team pace, and maintaining quality.

- Operate and support the folding gluing machine at Level1,2, and3 capacities.
- Set up the Leary detection system.
- Adjust machine for production runs to achieve proper carton folding and glue adhesion.
- Perform quality checks in compliance with quality system requirements.
- Record run data and maintain accurate timesheets.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventative maintenance inspections of the folder‑gluer machine and gluing/detection system.
- Identify equipment deficiencies, request parts for repairs, and assist in repairs as needed.
- Oversee work throughput and quality of Folder Gluer Assistants assigned to your machine.
- Ability to work as part of a Folding Gluing Team.

- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
- Passionate, can‑do attitude and positive mindset.
- GED or High School Equivalent.
- Prior experience in the print industry.
- Experience operating machinery in a production setting.
- Standing/Walking:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (12hours per shift). - Lifting/Carrying:
Regularly lift and move materials up to35‑40lbs. - Repetitive Motions:
Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling. - Visual/Manual Requirements:
Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.
- Moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection as needed.
- Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
Full‑time position; standard schedule is6:00PM–6:00AM, Monday through Wednesday, with occasional overtime as needed.
