Press Operator

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Press Operators for a packaging manufacturing company in Hutchinson, MN. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality printed packaging products while supporting a fast-paced production environment. If you enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, working with production equipment, and being part of a collaborative team, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

Verify paper stock and raw materials match job ticket specifications

Ensure printing plates, inks, and coatings are available and set up correctly for production runs

Set up feeder systems, loading materials, side guides, and double-sheet detectors

Hang printing plates and change blankets as needed during press operations

Perform quality checks on printed materials and completed work

Dispose of waste materials properly and separate recyclable materials as instructed

Assist with routine press maintenance and production support activities

Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment

Ability to stand and move throughout a 12-hour shift

Basic computer skills, including navigating software and entering information

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
