Cashier; Part-Time Evenings - Hutchinson, MN

Description

Cashier provides excellent customer service, handles cash transactions, answers telephone calls, processes returns, prices merchandise, stocks shelves, and ensures accurate cash handling.

Hours:

Part time evenings. May require occasional night or weekend coverage. Pay: $13.00–$15.00 depending on experience.

• Reports directly to the Store Manager.
• No direct supervisory authority.

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing the KCX cash register system.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Price store merchandise as requested by management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by management.
• Process customer returns.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Retail store environment.
• Cold and warm conditions.
