Here is a look at the full job description:

• Carefully enters all sales into the cash register to ensure that all purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts declining balance cards, and other acceptable forms of payment, and issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Observe customer purchases in the café line to differentiate between standard portions.
• Maintain, stock, and clean service areas as directed.
• Collect and record temperatures of food, service, and display areas as directed.
• Interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, and company inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation, Serv Safe and safety requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
• Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
• Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

• Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent 6+ months related experience or training
• Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations Serv Safe certification

  Occasionally exerting up to 50 lbs - constantly exerting up to 10 lbs.
