MEP Project Manager

We're partnered with one of the most respected general contractors in the US, delivering landmark data center and mission critical construction projects across the country. They are looking to add an experienced MEP Project Manager to their growing team based in Hutto, Texas.

This is a genuine leadership role where you'll take full ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through to closeout — managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships on high-profile data center builds. You'll be working for a business that has built an exceptional reputation in the mission critical space and genuinely invests in the long-term development of its people.

• Assist in preparation of estimates and prepare project budgets and unit cost reports
• Lead the project team in preparing the project management plan
• Organise and conduct pre-award and pre-construction meetings
• Participate in negotiation and preparation of project subcontracts
• Prepare project schedules and develop milestones in concert with the project superintendent
• Manage project materials and equipment procurement within budget constraints
• Develop and monitor project quality, safety, and risk management plans
• Monitor the project site for cost, safety, quality and schedule performance
• Negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders and manage cost and profit impact
• Develop monthly client pay requests and follow up on collection
• Attend and document owner and coordination meetings
• Coordinate all final closeout procedures including as-built drawings and letters of substantial completion
• Participate in monthly job cost reviews to declare project status

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience within data center construction
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, building codes, plans and specifications
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontracts and change orders
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's licence
• PE credentials or AGC membership preferred
