Job Description

If you are in an Alternative Certification Program (ACP), you would not qualify for this position, apply for the Non Certified Sub opening.

Primary

Purpose:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

Any current Active TEXAS Teaching Certifications.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned for long term assignments.

Pass Criminal Background check (at your expense)

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

PREFERRED to have direct work experience with children Knowledge of core academic subject assigned for long term positions General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
