Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Animal Hospital of Hutto is looking for an experienced LVT to join our team and help us continue providing excellent medicine and an outstanding experience for our clients and their pets.

We believe our veterinary technicians are an essential part of the medical team. We want our LVTs to feel empowered to use their training, technical skills, and clinical judgment while working closely with our veterinarians and support team. • Provide skilled nursing care and assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Perform laboratory procedures, radiology, dental procedures, venipuncture, catheter placement, and other patient treatments.
• Assist with dental procedures, including dental radiographs.
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and at-home care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and teammates to keep patient care and hospital flow running smoothly.
• Help foster a positive, respectful, and team-focused hospital culture.

• Current Texas Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Strong technical and nursing skills with confidence in hands-on patient care.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgery, and dentistry preferred.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality medicine.
• A dependable, compassionate teammate who takes initiative and enjoys supporting others.
• A desire to continue learning, growing, and using your skills to their fullest potential.
