The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This role also involves counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies. The Associate must ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and perform duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Picking Responsibilities- The picking functions include using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Pick products efficiently and stage in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as required by client specifications. All picking is performed according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use the appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify that products/orders meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products. All quality control functions follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.
- Operate equipment such as a pallet jack and other assigned tools in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain equipment and report problems.
- Perform or assist in maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as dictated by business needs (mandatory or voluntary).

Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
- None
Other
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse; temperatures can range from mild to moderate depending onseason and conditions.
Language Skills
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
- Basic to intermediate ability to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- 6 months of experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.

The work environment is typically low to moderate noise. The employee may be exposed to warehouse conditions and weather variations.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $41,882 - $52,353 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, education or certifications, and location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
