Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. They also count and inspect product, notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies. The Associate is accountable for safe and efficient operation of equipment and will perform all duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking – Use pallet jack to accurately pick orders and stage them in the appropriate areas, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as required.
  • Quality Control – Verify that products and orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies, and performing all quality control steps per SOP.
  • Safety, Housekeeping & Compliance – Execute safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness, and comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, OSHA/SDS Standards.
  • Equipment Operation – Operate a pallet jack and maintain equipment, reporting problems and ensuring safe, efficient use.
  • Maintenance – Assist with building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Other Duties – Perform any other duties as assigned and work overtime as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for counting inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
  • Current or prior MHE certification.
Physical Demands

Occasional lifting of 21‑50 pounds, reaching, bending, walking, standing, sitting; ability to lift, carry, push, pull.

Work Environment

Noise level is usually low to moderate. The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $41,882 – $52,353 annually (actual compensation determined by experience, skills, education, location). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSAs, HSAs, disability coverage, 401(k) plan with matching up to 5%, wellness resources, EAP services, paid time off, holidays. Pay and benefit details may vary by location and division.
