POSITION SUMMARY
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPicking Responsibilities
- Using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.
- Process all quality control functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
Equipment Operation
- Operate equipment such as a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and report equipment problems.
Maintenance
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
Other
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally, frequently, constantly walking and standing; lift/carry and push/pull; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, kneel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe expected base pay rate of $23.23 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
