Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Travel Compensation: $2,630.50 per week
Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-while maintaining professional standards and ensuring a safe, patient-centered environment.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to care for patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Perform detailed patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social components, and support discharge planning.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Provide guidance and serve as a resource for staff education and orientation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing informatics systems.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and blood/body fluid protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams prior to start
  • Recent Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting (within the last 2 years)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience managing cardiac patients
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
